Madewell

I’ve always been attracted to the Madewell brand, their clothing is amazing, their accessories are always trendy as well as simple, and everything is made well (obviously). Thanks to blogger Lacey from My Boring Closet I got to find some of my new favorite pieces at her Madewell event a couple weeks back (check out her new website—it looks great!) I have been obsessing over the new pieces I collected for my wardrobe. I probably wear these sunglasses daily and if I’m not wearing my contacts one day I choose to be somewhat blind when I go outside so I can wear my these sunnies…that’s how much I love them!

The grey knit sweater tank is the perfect choice as we transition into the fall season—it’s cozy but you don’t burn up if you are in the sun and it is a great staple piece for your wardrobe. It goes really well with high-rise shorts or pants, I prefer to tuck it in but you can always leave it untucked if that isn’t your style. You can’t go wrong with this knit tank. And now for the bandana…I never thought I would wear something like this until I fell in love with the way it was styled on a mannequin in the store. I think this is a great look that will carry really well into fall since you can do it with a long sleeve shirt and a denim jacket, a white t-shirt and jeans, or pretty much any casual look that you want to add a little something to (more example blogs to come). The taupe booties and cutoff shorts are from GG Boutique in Fort Collins, but they have an online store as well! They have a great pieces coming in for fall so stay tuned for more posts!
