Bodysuits are ideal for everyday wear but let me give you a little tip…don’t wear them to the doctor’s office… cause let me tell ya, it can get awkward real quick! About three months ago I had my first appointment with my surgeon for my hernia repair. I had already gotten checked out by my general physician who confirmed I had a hernia sooo when they didn’t ask for me to shimmy out of my work wear and slip into a gown I thought, “huh he must not need to check out herni himself”… I was wrong. It was all the usual stuff—you know, asking questions, getting my information, etc. Then suddenly he says, “Alright, let’s see it.” I’m sure my face said it all, “ummm what? You want me to get undressed in front of you!?” So he responds with a, “It’s alright, you can just pull your pants down a little. Well sir…I actually can’t. Don’t mind me doc, just unbuttoning my shirt from in between my legs, give me a second to get situated…
At this point, as if it weren’t already uncomfortable enough, Herni decided to not make an appearance meaning my surgeon wasn’t convinced that I even had one! Which then meant that I had to “bare down and cough” Good times.
Next time I’ll tell you guys the entire story of what I experienced before, during and after my surgery up to date. But since things are still a little weird and my body is still healing I’ll stick with fashion for now.
I really love a good bodysuit. Since I work in a corporate office I need a nice mix of professional and casual clothing. And when I can find something that can work in both my personal and professional settings it’s definitely a plus. The reason a bodysuit is great for the office is because you don’t have to worry about whether your undergarments are showing or not. And they pair well with any bottoms you so desire.
I’ve listed my favorite bodysuits at the bottom of this post along with some bottoms that I would pair them with! Let me know what you think and as always, thanks for reading!
Byyyyyeeeee.
